Seven aid workers with the nonprofit World Central Kitchen were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza late Monday. The victims include a U.S.-Canadian dual citizen, as well as aid workers from Australia, the U.K, Poland and one Palestinian — all who were working to help feed Gazans on the brink of starvation.
"This is the beautiful aromatic fragrant rice that will be served today," Frankcom could be seen saying on-camera in the video. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, traveling in France on Tuesday, said this about the deaths of the World Central Kitchen aid workers:"We've spoken directly to the Israeli government about this particular incident. We've urged a swift, a thorough and impartial investigation to understand exactly what happened," Sec. Blinken said.
