The Aigburth Arms in south Liverpool has undergone a major transformation following a two-week refurbishment, resulting in a completely revamped pub experience.
A popular south Liverpool pub has undergone a £150,000 renovation and reopened to customers. The Aigburth Arms, situated on Victoria Road in L17, was previously known as The Victoria pub. Owned by the Blind Tiger Inns team, The Aigburth Arms has experienced a remarkable transformation following a two-week refurbishment that has revitalized every aspect of the south Liverpool establishment.
When Blind Tiger Inns initially carried out the refurbishment in 2020, the opening was abruptly cut short on the same day that all pubs were forced to close due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, this time around, both existing and new customers have had the opportunity to fully appreciate the refurbished venue since its reopening on Friday, January 17. Every corner of the pub has been transformed, from the flooring and lighting to the toilets, bar, and furniture. The pub now boasts an added children's play area, as well as an increased number of seating options in the beer garden. The pub's sound and lighting system has also been upgraded, including the addition of 'smart darts'. Pub manager Louise Delaney and her team, who have been running the pub since its opening in 2020, are thrilled with the changes. Louise stated, 'Now that it has finally happened, we are absolutely blown away by the transformation. We love the pub and our incredible customers, and this stunning new look is exactly what our customers desired and deserve. The feedback so far has been phenomenal, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming everyone this year to all the exciting and unique events we have planned.'
