There was no Spare the Air Alert in effect for the first time since Saturday.
Smoke and ash from a wildfire burning in Sonoma County continued to have an effect on communities in the East Bay on Tuesday, enough so that the Bay Area Air Quality Management District issued an air quality advisory.First commercial hydrogen fueling station in US for big rigs set to open in Bay Area
The district said the Bay Area is also being affected by smoke from the Sites Fire in Colusa County. That fire had burned 10,000 acres and had 0% containment early Tuesday, Cal Fire said. The advisory comes after Spare the Air Alerts were issued on Sunday and Monday, the first two such alerts of 2024.
