Dramatic pictures show the air ambulance arriving at the beach
Emergency services including the coastguard, North West Air Ambulance and paramedics from North West Ambulance Service were called to Rossall Beach at Cleveleys on Sunday . HM Coastguard Fleetwood said their team attended along with members of Knott-End Coastguard rescue team to 'evacuate an injured person'.
The casualty was then carried off the beach to the ambulance. No details have been released about the casualty or the extent of their injuries.
