The 74-year-old man fell from the scaffolding on South Bridge Street in the town centre at around 12.45pm today . Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after. The man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital shortly afterwards for treatment. Police shut down the road following the incident with the area currently remaining closed off.
