Liverpool rejected their first £150m bid.
They want to bring in Salah ahead of the Premier League’s 11pm summer transfer deadline on Friday – despite the fact the Saudi window does not close until later in September – presumably to give Liverpool time to consider replacements.
But it is thought that the Reds have no desire to let Salah leave, despite the club doing business with several Saudi teams this summer. Salah only signed a new three-year contract last summer, which made him the highest-paid player in Liverpool history on around £350,000 per week.
