The former Scotland international has had a playful pop at his co-presenter while interviewing the former QPR and Huddersfield boss.
Alan Brazil has nudged Rangers legend Ally McCoist with a cheeky penalty dig as the punditry pair shared some laughs with Neil Warnock.
The experienced manager famed for his work in the EFL appeared on the talkSPORT breakfast show hosted by the diehard Celtic fan Brazil, who couldn't resist a subtle jab at McCoist's beloved side. Some punters in the green half of Glasgow have been quick to hit their rivals with 12-yard jibes in recent times and Brazil was no different.
One of his former clubs, Ipswich Town, was discussed by Warnock after they beat Plymouth Argyle 3-2 at the weekend. The former QPR boss was certain the Tractor Boys – currently occupying one of the automatic promotion spots in the Championship – survived a penalty scare after a foul by former Rangers defender George Edumundson on Mustapha Bundu. Warnock said: "If you saw the game last week, I am a Plymouth fan, they are winning 1-0 at Ipswich.
"He is the only guy in the stadium that doesn't see it. If he keeps getting officials like this then Ipswich will fly it!" And that is when Brazil landed his Rangers dig. He taunted: "Neil, Ally's not the guy to talk to about penalties let me tell you. If you touch a hair on a Rangers player's leg it's a penalty so don't worry about that!"
