Alan Carr has opened up about his work-life balance, having split up from his husband Paul Drayton last year and joining the judging panel of ITV1's Mamma Mia: I Have A Dream
Alan Carr is keeping himself busy with various TV projects, from RuPaul's Drag Race UK to Mamma Mia!: I Have A Dream - so much so that he's struggling to find time to relax.
The 47-year-old is a judge on the new ITV1 talent show, which sees musical hopefuls compete for the roles of Sky and Sophie in Mamma Mia on the West End. "I’d come out, I looked to my left to see Zoe’s knickers drying on the sun lounger. I’d see Samantha with a yoga mat, Jessie’s topless sunbathing. I looked out the window and saw celebrities – it was strange!"
Speaking on Good Morning Britain last year, Alan said that writing his stand-up tour felt like "therapy" after the split.
