Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh fans were left fuming as ITV appeared to make a huge Remembrance Sunday gaffe

Viewers of "Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh" were left incensed after ITV seemingly made a significant blunder on Remembrance Sunday. The programme was broadcast from 9.30 am to 11.25 am on ITV 1, which clashed with the BBC 's live coverage at the Cenotaph, reports The Express.

They added, "At least @GBNEWS and @channel5_tv did it, obviously airing an interview with Alan Titchmarsh was more important to ITV." A different individual remarked: "@ITV appalling that you did not interrupt Alan Titchmarsh today for the two minute's silence for #RemembranceSunday. Even cutting to a static ITV logo for two mins would have done. Deeply disrespectful."

Alan's show took a moment to honour Remembrance Day as Sarah, Duchess of York, comedian Al Murray and Shetland actress Ashley Jensen joined him. Fans appreciated the thoughtful coverage, even absent a traditional silence.
