A CCTV image shows a woman leaving a pub in Pleasley, Derbyshire, shortly before the fatal collision. Police believe she 'has vital information in relation to the murder of Alana Armstrong'.

Murder detectives have released a CCTV image of a woman they want to speak to after a fatal hit-and-run involving an e-bike in Derbyshire. Mother-of-one Alana Armstrong, 25, died at the scene in the village of Pleasley on Tuesday evening. She was riding pillion when the e-bike was rammed by a dark-coloured 4x4, believed to be a Land Rover Discovery, police said.

'Her little boy, along with her wider family, will never get the chance to see her again, hug her again, spend Christmas together, or celebrate all those milestones,' he said. Police also revealed the route the vehicle took through the village. Officers said the Land Rover Discovery had pursued two e-bikes before the collision. It then drove off up Batley Lane - onto Rowthorne Lane - and the last known sighting of it was at this junction, turning right onto the A617 towards New Houghton.
