As the old saying goes, third time’s a charm or so much is the hope for Alaska Regional Hospital officials who are proposing a stand-alone full-service emergency room facility in South Anchorage for a third time.

“This is a tough decision and arguably we should have done this quite a while ago,” Binkley said. “But at a certain point it just becomes clear that we’ve got to follow our audience and we’ve got to listen to our audience, and they’re very clearly preferring to read the news in a certain way.”
