Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says it is quite clear Labor put a “thin veil” over its plans to change superannuation which was “only revealed to the Australian people after they were elected”.

“I don’t think the Australian people take kindly to having promises broken – to being jibbed here,” Mr Canavan told Sky News Australia.

“I think we will see a reaction from the public about the Labor Party’s continuing and growing list of broken promises.”
