Prime Minister Anthony Albanese over his “entire parliamentary career” has spoken out against Israel and in support of Palestinians, says Sky News host Sharri Markson.
Ms Markson criticised Mr Albanese’s response to French President Emmanuel Macron’s call to join the fight against Hamas as the Prime Minister seemed to instead be focused on humanitarian aid getting to Gaza.
She pointed to a video of Mr Albanese when he was younger, holding the megaphone at a pro-Palestinian rally. “We're now seeing Albanese show his true colours. He could only stay on message for so long,” she said. “And apparently two weeks after the worst terror attacks for the Jewish community since the Holocaust, well two weeks appears to have been his limit.
“Albanese wants to focus, not on France's call to destroy the Hamas terrorist group, but on bringing Australians living in Gaza home.”
