Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has voiced dissatisfaction with Israel's response to the airstrike that killed seven aid workers in Gaza, including Australian Zomi Frankcom.

Speaking to the media in southwest Sydney on Thursday Mr Albanese said the statement made by Israel “isn’t good enough”.While Mr Albanese has not supported these demands, he has said a full and proper investigation is required and added he wants the findings to be made public. The Prime Minister also said: “We need to have accountability for how it's occurred. And what isn't good enough is the statements that have been made, including that this is 'just a product of war'”.
