City of Sydney Councillor Linda Scott says it was a “great pleasure” to be with the Prime Minister during the naming of Pride Square and “lovely” to hear he would be marching in the Mardi Gras parade.
“It was a great pleasure to be with the Prime Minister yesterday to launch the naming of the Pride Square in his electorate,” Ms Scott told Sky News host Caleb Bond.
“It was also lovely to hear him announce he would march in Mardi Gras as the first Prime Minister to do this – this is a really wonderful thing to see for gay and lesbian communities.”
