Bags of Sainsbury’s Flaked Almond have been found to contain salmonella, which can cause food poisoning.
‘The possible presence of metal makes this product unsafe to eat,’ the alert for the Village Bakery Signature tortilla wraps warns. ‘No other Aldi or Signature Flatbreads UK products are affected.’ Pieces of metal may also be found in Taj chopped spinach, in packs stocked in Asda and Eden Farms.
