Aldi crowned cheapest supermarket for Christmas dinner essentials at £2.71 per person
Aldi has been crowned as the cheapest supermarket for Christmas dinner ingredients this year - with a total that comes to less than £3 per head.
Ingredients in the price research included a whole turkey, roast potatoes, carrots, Brussel sprouts, red cabbage, gravy granules, stuffing, cranberry sauce and stuffing. Asda was found to be the second cheapest for the same items, with a total coming to £25.84. Meanwhile, Tesco came third place with a total of £26.33.
On the pricier side, M&S shoppers would find themselves paying out a total of £57.84 - making it almost double the price for the same list as Aldi.
