The ingredient could be a risk to 1 in every 100 people
Aldi has removed its Ready Set Cook beef teriyaki stir fry from the shelves of its supermarkets after they discovered wheat inside. The ingredient had not been mentioned on the ingredients or allergens list on the pack, and could pose a risk to some people.
The recall was issued through the Food Standards Agency on Saturday. A spokesperson said: "Aldi GB is recalling Ready Set Cook Teriyaki Beef Stir Fry because it contains wheat which is not mentioned on the label.
