The supermarket giant issued a recall notice on Ashfields Grill 4 Garlic and Herb Chicken kebabs after a ‘labelling error’ saw an incorrect sell-by date printed on the packaging. Recalled items were mistakenly dated July 9 and Aldi is now offering shoppers a full refund.
Ashfields Grill 4 Garlic and Herb Chicken Kebabs 320g have an incorrect sell-by date printed on them ‘No other products are affected. ‘Customers are asked to return this product to their nearest store, where a full refund will be given.’ A statement on the products from food.gov read: ‘Aldi is recalling Ashfields Grill 4 Garlic & Herb Chicken Kebabs because of a labelling error which shows an incorrect use-by date, making the product unsafe to eat.
