Budget supermarket Aldi has ignited a debate after launching a rosé wine that closely resembles pop star Kylie Minogue's popular sparkling rosé. The similarities in the bottle design and labeling have led to accusations of copying and prompted legal threats from Kylie Wines.
Aldi has released a sparkling rosé wine that bears a striking resemblance to Kylie Minogue 's bestselling wine. The bottle, label, and even the font of Aldi's Rosalie Cotes De Provence Rosé closely resemble Kylie Minogue 's popular tipple. The supermarket's version sells for £8.49 a bottle, while Minogue's wine retails for upwards of £9. Kylie Wines representatives have expressed their displeasure, stating that legal action is being considered. They claim Aldi is attempting to deceive customers.
Social media users have also noticed the similarity, with some questioning whether Aldi has ripped off Minogue's design. Aldi, however, has acknowledged the resemblance, stating that wine expert Sam Caporn, a Master of Wine, conducted a blind taste test comparing both rosés
