Aldi has reduced the price of its prosecco to £4.99 for a limited time, allowing customers to stock up for Halloween celebrations. The Costellore Prosecco Spumante DOC has fruity notes of peach, apple, pear, and lemon zest. This follows Aldi's recent success with selling premium wagyu sirloin steaks.
As Halloween approaches, Aldi has knocked off nearly a pound from its usual price of £5.75, so prosecco fans can stock up on their favourite tipple just in time for the spooky season celebrations. Customers can pick up a bottle of prosecco in store for the next four days at the reduced price of £4.99.
However, Aldi warned the deal will only be available for a limited time, so shoppers will need to be quick. The £4.99 Costellore Prosecco Spumante DOC will be on sale until October 31.READ MORE: Shoppers say Walkers' new Christmas crisp flavour 'is not right' According to the retailer, the Italian prosecco available at all Aldi stores has "delicious fruity notes of peach, apple, pear and lemon zest".
This further move into affordable luxury, comes after Aldi announced earlier this month, they would be selling premium wagyu sirloin steaks which customers went wild over. The £6.99 steak has bagged itself five medals in the annual World Steak Challenge including the gold medal for 'specially selected wagyu sirloin steak' – the only English steak to win a gold medal.
