A man has claimed he 'knew' he could 'make a killing' by shopping ta Aldi, thanks to some wise choices - but not everyone is happy with his methods
Many people take on extra work to afford the finer things in life, though some reckon it's too much of a faff. Yet, one man has proven that making a bit of spare cash needn't be a slog. A quick trip to Aldi turned into a lucrative venture for him. So how did he do it?
Admitting to filling his basket to the brim with them, he snapped up 24 label makers. Not stopping there, he hit another store to grab more. With "another 28 units" in tow, he quipped about the bemused expressions of fellow shoppers witnessing his haul. He could have continued his spree, but chose to head home to start cashing in.
In the end, he pocketed £855 profit "for 70 minutes work". However, some critics were not impressed. One commented: "It's only profit when it's in the bank and you're spending it. Otherwise it's called 'stock' and if Aldi are selling them your 60 units will take a while to sell."
