Aldi shoppers have been heaping praise on a bottle of bubbles that’s the ‘best I’ve tasted’ and doesn’t give you a hangover. The affordable Zerozecco is an alcohol-free wine that mimics prosecco, but without the booze!

Launched in 2021, the wine is a lightweight, fruity fizz that ‘tastes better than most alcoholic versions’, according to customers.Aldi shared a snap of the £2.79 fizz on Facebook ahead of the weekend, and hundreds of shoppers rushed to the comments to say how much they loved the wine, which as been used for all sorts of occasions, from Christmas and New Year, to weddings and weekend treats.

Alison Marlow added: “This is the best alcohol free Prosecco I’ve tried as not too sweet. Still a little schloer like but a nice acidity too.” “This is seriously good,” said Helen Somers. “One of the best alcohol free wines I've had. I buy this for special dinners when there are people who will need to drive.”
