Aldi bosses have warned customers who stocked up on party food from its new Christmas range to bring it back to the shop and not eat it. It was claimed that some products have been found to be unsuitable for thousands of people due to a "possible health risk".
A spokesperson on the FSA website said: "Aldi is recalling Let’s Party Vegetable Bao Buns because they contain sesame and duck meat, which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to sesame. Sesame is a major allergen, according to Allergy UK, and can come on quickly, within minutes of eating the food. It can cause severe allergic reactions that present as some of the following symptoms:
