Shoppers will only be able to buy two at a time when the discount is applied from next week until New Year's
Aldi is set to introduce a strict 'two per person' limit in all supermarkets across the UK next week. From December 27 to December 31, the store will put in place a rule that means customers will only be able to buy two bottles of a new drink per person.
Aldi says the rule will be put in place in a bid to give everyone a chance this festive season. The drink is expected to cause a frenzy among customers thanks to the 44% price drop. The Specially Selected sparkling wine has been praised for its notes of "mouthwatering, creamy, honey flecked, quince and golden apple fruit". Aldi's two-bottle limit aims to give more shoppers a chance to raise a toast to the New Year with this refreshing Crémant, Aldi bosses say.
