Aldi has launched a new range of Specialbuys for October - and the recent release has seen parents queuing out the doors for a new range of wooden toys . On October 10, Aldi launched a range of wooden toys including a kitchen, railway sets and even a wooden Cuthbert the Caterpillar cake, which was priced at £7.99.
Some shoppers went to social media to talk about the chaos that unfolded on Thursday. @AlyssaBWills said on X: "Cannot be the only one thinking this Aldi wooden toy event and the chaos around it is absolutely mental. Why are women acting like they can't get a pack of 3 wooden cars anywhere else but Aldi at 8am on a random Thursday morning? They've hyped it up way too much. Lunacy.
Another angry shopper @JobiWanderer said: "Honestly @AldiUK why can't the wooden toys be an all-year thing? They are clearly popular and it would stop people buying things they don't need to then re-sell on Vinted for 5-6 times the price."
