Mr Baldwin is set to appear at the Santa Fe Magistrates Court later this month
with two counts of involuntary manslaughter stemming from the incident on the New Mexico set of Western filmHe was formally charged with the offences by the Santa Fe District Attorney’s office alongside the film’s armourer, Hannah Gutierrez Reed.
Both Mr Baldwin and Ms Gutierrez-Reed have denied all wrongdoing in connection with the case and have vowed to fight the charges. It remains unclear how live ammunition ended up in the weapon, but District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies claimed Baldwin’s “reckless deviation from known standards and practice and protocol” directly caused the fatal shooting.
