Alec Baldwin , 66, claimed Americans are 'uninformed' about global issues during his appearance at the 42nd Torino Film Festival in Turin, Italy on Monday. During a press conference, the actor criticized Americans' lack of knowledge about major world topics such as climate change and the Ukraine conflict. Baldwin suggested that the vacuum of information is partly filled by the film industry, which provides entertainment and some insight into reality.
He was honored with a Lifetime award at the festival but was not allowed to be questioned about the fatal shooting incident on the set of Rust
