The couple, who welcomed seven kids in just nine years, declared that while they’re “done having kids,” the existing brood—Carmen, 10, Rafael, 8, Leonardo, 7, Romeo, 5, Eduardo, 3, Lucia, 3, and Ilaria, 19 months—will lead The Baldwins next year. Set to a soundtrack of screaming kids, the actor explained in the teaser that he is inviting cameras “into our home to experience the ups and downs; the good, the bad; the wild and the crazy,” adding, “Home is the place we love to be most.
But they just don’t make that many films anymore that I think are interesting. Then all of a sudden I met my wife, who I love dearly. And every time the baby would get to be two years old, we go, ‘Maybe it’s time for one more baby.’” News of the Baldwins’ reality show comes amid his protracted legal battle stemming from the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of their film Rust.
