Alec Baldwin has been charged with involuntary manslaughter by the Santa Fe district attorney after Halyna Hutchins was killed on the Rust set in October 2021.
The film’s armourer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed is also being charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter over Halyna’s passing on the film’s Santa Fe County set. “Mr Baldwin had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun – or anywhere on the movie set. Announcing the news of the settlement on social media last month, the actor penned: “We are pleased to announce today the settlement of the civil case filed on behalf of the family of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
