Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died after a gun held by Alec Baldwin went off on the set of the Western film Rust in New Mexico in 2021. Now, the actor is on trial facing a charge of involuntary manslaughter - and up to 18 months in prison if convicted. Watch live below.

Mr Spiro asks about the crime scene tape that was put up at the scene, earlier highlighted by prosecutor Kari Morrissey, and the officer says this would have been put up for a crime or an accident. Officer Nicholas Lefleur tells the court he believes the woman was the medic for the movie set, and not an emergency services worker.
Baldwin's hair is longer and he has a thick, greying beard, and is dressed in costume as Harland Rust.Later footage shows him approaching Baldwin once again, as the actor is talking to two crew members. Prosecutor Kari Morrissey asks Officer Lefleur if this concerns him and he says yes, as there is potential for testimony to change.
Before this, he worked at Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department, and was on duty on the day of the shooting on the Rust set.Prosecutor Kari Morrissey is asking questions, and requests an idea of what Officer Lefleur saw when he arrived on the film set. "No one should die in the workplace... safety on set is a must, no exceptions," Rogers said to the gathering media.Defence attorney Alex Spiro tells the court that the prosecution will try to make jurors forget this was a movie set.
