Australia's top-ranked player is into the US Open fourth round for just the third time in his career after rolling past 23rd seed Nicolas Jarry in straight sets.

The Australian number one only spent 104 minutes on court against 23rd-seeded Jarry as he notched a 6-1, 6-3, 6-2 victory. Coming on the back of a dominant straight-sets win over Yibing Wu of China, de Minaur has now dropped just 10 games in his past two matches.New York was the site of de Minaur's only journey to the quarterfinals of a slam, making it to the last eight in 2020, where he lost to eventual champion Dominic Thiem.
De Minaur will likely have to take down another former champ, 2021 winner Daniil Medvedev, if he is to reach another quarterfinal.
