TV presenter Alex Jones had to miss an episode of The One Show after one of her sons was hospitalized. She reassured fans that the treatment was successful and thanked the hospital staff.
The One Show star Alex Jones missed the program last night after her son was admitted to the hospital. The TV presenter sparked concern among her followers when she took to social media to reveal that one of her sons was receiving treatment in the hospital. Alex chose not to share which of her sons was receiving medical attention and did not add any further details as to what was happening.
Alex captioned the snap: 'Never gets any easier but made so much better thanks to the amazingly kind and gentle staff.' In order to not cause any alarm, Alex then shortly afterwards uploaded another post to share her 'relief' that the treatment her son was undergoing was 'done'.'Needless to say, I won't be on @bbctheoneshow later but @laurenlaverne and @gabbylogan will look after you x.' Gabby stepped into Alex's shoes alongside regular co-host Lauren Laverne for last night's programme as they chatted to Adil Ray. Alex's second son, Kit, was born on May 13 in 2019, with the couple having their first child, Teddy, in 2017. Roman previously signed on to be a guest presenter on The One Show in 2022 but made the move permanent the following year. This brought his time on Capital Breakfast to an end
