Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas will be taking a break from hosting The One Show
The 45 year old TV presenter took to Instagram on 27 July to share a snap of her with co-host Jermaine Jenas on the iconic green couch as they bid farewell to their hosting duties until the end of August.The pair also announced the news on Wednesday's edition of The One Show, as they told how viewers won't be getting their week-daily fix of the show as it makes way for coverage of the Commonwealth Games, which begins on Thursday 28 July.
Announcing the break on social media, the official page for The One Show shared a message for viewers, writing: "That's all we've got time for tonight! Thank you for watching! The #TheOneShow will be back on August 22nd after a sensational summer of sport!The news comes after Alex recently opened up about how things have been "tricky" for her over recent weeks, and thanked her fans for supporting her.
