The Potters defeated Leeds United's promotion rivals Sunderland in their most recent outing
Stoke City boss Alex Neil is hoping the home crowd will prove a deciding factor in the clash with Leeds United. The Potters boss was fully aware of the quality the Whites' posses, having come from behind to beat Norwich City 3-2 at the weekend.
"Yeah, they've got good balance and they’ve got two good forwards," Stoke boss Neil said. "They bought Joel Piroe for more than £10m and I think the other lad Rutter for something like £28m ."They are going to give you quality. They’ve got Dan James on one wing who’s really quick and you’ve got Summerville who scored a couple the other day.
"If our crowd can be as good as they have been recently – and I know we’ve got big numbers coming again, which is great – then we’re hoping we can win the game. It's going to be a really tough when you take on any of the teams who have come down from the Premier League. "They're always hard to compete with that first year. When they come down that's arguably when they should always be the strongest in this division. I think now they're starting to have a little bit of rhythm.
