The pundit and former Ibrox man reckons the Motherwell game was a brutal watch.
Alex Rae insists Rangers fans will demand more of Michael Beale and his players on home soil after their grind over the finishing line against Motherwell.
Speaking on Rangers TV, Rae was pleased with the one moment of quality from the home side, but very little else in what proved to be a sight sore eyes could have done without. Rae said: "It was well constructed and you talk about playing through the lines. Lovely ball by Scott Wright first time and Matondo pulls the trigger. This was the deciding factor in the game and it was needed as that was a tough watch.
