Alex Scott wows with glam look as she larks around on the red carpet at BBC Sports Personality of the Year
Alex Scott looked on great form as she arrived at the BBC Sports Personality Of The Year Awards in Salford on Wednesday . The TV star, 38, was at MediaCity to host the prestigious sporting awards with Clare Balding, Gabby Logan and Gary Lineker.
Alex was widely praised as she made a stand after a U-turn over players wearing an anti-discrimination armband at the World Cup last month. The One Love band contains the rainbow colours associated with the Pride flag and had been set to be a strong statement in Qatar, a country which criminalises same-sex relationships.
But Alex, who was part of the BBC's punditry team for the tournament, donned the band as she appeared pitchside ahead of England's opening match. And Twitter was quickly flooded with praise.
