Claudia Winkleman, the show's host, playfully suggested Alexander was single, igniting excitement. Even after his taste of fame, Alexander confirmed his single status with a chuckle, stating, 'I am still single... I'll probably leave it there.' However, potential suitors might face stiff competition, as Claudia revealed her WhatsApp was flooded with inquiries about Alexander's love life. Alexander expressed his sincere gratitude for the unwavering support from fans, saying, 'I'm so grateful for all the support I've had during this. It was quite an intense process because I got off the train and then came back into the game only two and a half weeks ago. It's been made so much more enjoyable because of all the support out there and I'm enormously grateful for it, it really means a lot.' His journey could have ended abruptly if he hadn't returned after his daring decision to leave the train in the first episode. Despite being uncertain about their chances of coming back, Alexander and his fellow 'trainers' Fozia and Jack sensed something was happening. He recalled, 'I thought carefully about the language Claudia used over the tannoy, I thought, well, she's not saying we're exiting the game,' and his knowledge of previous series gave him an advantage. 'Anyone in series 1 and 2 had been either banished or murdered. No one leaves unless they are.' Looking back, Alexander believes his brief departure ultimately contributed to his success in reaching the finale. He explained, 'I also know that the first few episodes can be tough. It's the luck of the draw on who goes and who stays. So, I thought if I missed some of those, and came in with the story of 'I've done the right thing' it could be helpful.' Though Alexander's elimination sparked disappointment among fans, he expressed his happiness with his experience and had no regrets about how things unfolded.
