Alfa Romeo have become the penultimate F1 team to set a launch date with the C43 set to be unveiled in Zurich.
The 2023 challenger will be seen publicly for the first time at the team’s Zurich base as they become the penultimate constructor to get a date in the books with just Haas left to announce.
When the engineers and designers set about creating the successor to the 2022 car, reliability will no doubt have been at the forefront of their mind with the team suffering 12 retirements in 2022 including a double DNF at Silverstone. It is not totally new surroundings for Seidl though with the German 47-year-old having previously lived in Hinwil, where Sauber are based, for four years during his days at BMW-Sauber.
