Alison Hammond, co-host of This Morning, experienced an on-air mishap while promoting her role in Peter Pan pantomime.
This Morning's festive episode was briefly interrupted on Christmas Eve. Presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary were all set to bring some holiday cheer to the viewers. But a hiccup occurred right at the beginning, with Alison, who had dual roles for the day not only as host but also as the Magical Mermaid in Birmingham Hippodrome's pantomime production of Peter Pan , experiencing an on-screen mishap.
In her enthusiasm for the event-packed day ahead, Alison attempted a high kick which unexpectedly led to her earpiece coming loose. A clearly entertained Dermot observed: 'Look at that kick!' prompting Alison to respond: 'My ear piece just fell out! We don't need them, oh, have you found it? Thank you!' Dermot then located the elusive ear piece tangled in Alison's hair and swiftly reattached it, leading to a grateful response from the chuckling presenter: 'Thank you so much, thank you!' Alison also mentioned that she was showcasing her Panto moves and urged viewers to attend the show for more entertaining antics, reports the Mirror. For the second consecutive year, the presenter is back at the Pantomime playing the whimsical character to the delight of audiences. Alison has expressed her excitement about the role, saying: 'Birmingham... I'm back! I'm SO excited to return to the Hippodrome this Christmas in Peter Pan as the Magical Mermaid alongside the hilarious Matt Slack. 'I had an absolute blast in Jack and the Beanstalk last year, it was an incredible experience, but it flew by so quickly that I just had to return for another panto. The Birmingham audience is truly the best, and I'm really looking forward to seeing them all in Neverland soon!' Meanwhile, Kate Lawler was left mortified during a live segment on ITV's This Morning on Monday. She was on location in Southbourne, Dorset, with her cute dog Shirley, but things took an unexpected turn when Shirley started 'humping' Kate on camera
