She said she was forced to look at her life choices when her mum passed away
This Morning presenter Alison Hammond has amazed viewers with her continuing weight loss. The TV star looks worlds away from her first appearances on our TV screens when she appeared on Big Brother, reports Birmingham Live.
Last year, Alison revealed she had made some major changes to her life after hitting the scales at over 20 stone at her heaviest. She explained her weight loss journey had started after she got some worrying health news following the death of her beloved mother, who had battled diabetes, in 2020 from liver and lung cancer.Alison - who revealed she couldn't even lose weight when fitted with a gastric band - was also diagnosed with a pre-diabetic condition that same year.
Alison revealed she isn't weighing herself, but says she knows she has lost weight by how her clothes fit. She added: "I'm no longer pre-diabetic, and I'm doing really well. Alison also joined Weight Watchers after revealing her gastric band 'just didn't work for me'. She explained after surgery that 'you still feel hungry but you can't eat'.
