It has been confirmed that Alison Hammond will be joining Holly Willoughby to co-host This Morning. The beloved TV personality first rose to fame in Big Brother in 2002, and she will now be at the centre of the national breakfast show after stepping into the role to replace Philip Schofield, who left the show in May.
From I'm A Celebrity in 2010 to Strictly Come Dancing in 2014, Alison has made a name for herself on celebrity shows. It was also announced earlier this year that she would be presenting The Great British Bake Off alongside Noel Fielding.Incredible weight loss Alison has been on a weight loss journey over the years and tried countless diets and exercise regimes in a bid to lose weight, including having gastric band surgery and appearing on Celebrity Fit Club.
"And what it is, is your regulation system is out of whack. So obviously, you can't control wanting to eat all the time. They quickly got engaged but that also wasn't to be and it was with a heavy heart that Alison announced their split three years later, admitting that the agony of their heartbreak had put her off finding love again. Alison was then briefly involved with audio technician Ben Kusi, who she met on Celebs Go Dating earlier in 2020.
It was also claimed by the source that Holly became her 'agony aunt'. They said: "She's been helping to lift Alison's spirits by not only being there for her to talk to and a shoulder to lean on, but by instilling her with confidence and helping her focus on how many positive things she has in her life."
