This Morning presenter Alison Hammond is reportedly set to join The Great British Bake Off when the Channel 4 series begins filming later this year.
Sharing the news of Alison's new role, an insider told The Mirror: "Alison is a great choice. She will bring warmth and humour to the tent in spades. We’re laughing just thinking about it."Fans have been quick to react to the news, with many sharing their happiness at the idea of seeing Alison in the bake off tent.
While former Pointless host Richard Osman wrote: "Alison Hammond as new 'Bake Off' host is the perfect booking. What a great choice" to which one follower replied: "To be fair - what programme WOULDN'T be improved by her being host?" As wedding bells rang out in the studio, Dermot was keen to know more about the reports that Alison is set to tie the knot with her beau.
