Alison Steadman got seriously sentimental thinking back on the last day of shooting for the Gavin & Stacey finale, spilling to ITV’s Loose Women that everyone was "in bits" because it was just "very emotional". The veteran British actress, known for her role as Pamela Shipman in the cherished BBC sitcom, described the bond with her co-stars: "It was wonderful, because we do feel like a big family.
Yet, looking back at her time on the show brings nothing but warmth: "But it’s been such a great experience." Alison was over the moon about being cast: "And I was so thrilled at that, I thought that was so kind of them. And of course, what a great character to dive into and have a bit of fun with."
