Alisson Becker has weighed in on Mohamed Salah ’s contract situation, praising the Liverpool forward for his handling of the growing saga as he opened up on how it is affecting the Egyptian behind the scenes. The 32-year-old is out of contract at Anfield next summer, along with both Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Also recording 12 assists from 22 appearances, he has got the most contributions from players in Europe’s top five leagues so far this season. Alisson made his return from a hamstring injury against Girona, and made a number of crucial saves during his first appearance since early-October prior to Salah’s winning strike. The Brazilian also played alongside the Egyptian at AS Roma, prior to their respective moves to Anfield in the summers of 2017 and 2018 respectively.
