Aljaz Skorjanec sweetly told his wife Janette Manrara 'it was special' as they enjoyed a 'first' together for the first time in a year.. The former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancers have had quite the few months since becoming parents for the first time.
They confirmed Lyra's arrival in a social media post shared on both of their Instagram pages featuring the first adorable photo of the new family of three. It featured a black and white photo in which Janette could be seen cradling the newborn in her hospital bed while Aljaz leaned over them while beaming for the camera.
Taking to Instagram on Monday morning , Janette told her fans and followers how it was a 'big day' for her. "Today is day one of Dancing in a Winter Wonderland rehearsals. It's the first day that I'm back dancing after a year. Big day today. Slightly nervous, we'll see." And after spending their day dancing together, Janette and Aljaz offered a joint update in a video posted to Janette's Instagram Story. "Finished rehearsals," Janette said as Aljaz commented: "Day one, done!" Janette continued: "We are running home to Lyra but we danced! I danced today!"
