However, this action-packed sequence has a happy ending, with Wyatt amazingly grabbing LaGrange off her motorcycle as she speeds past. This scene also proves just how intelligent Elly is, both as herself and Rachel Kylle, and how, ultimately, her morals conquer everything else. Ironically, Elly and Aidan need Ritter's eyes for the system's retina scan. However, Alfie the Cat has other ideas and chooses to attack Ritter and claw at his eyes. Because Alfie spends most of Argylle tucked away in his backpack, it's easy to forget that he's there. This is why his sudden attack, which gives Elly and Aidan a solution to how they'll escape death, is so good.
4 Jumping From The Roof Aidan And Elly's Hilarious And Scary Escape Close After leaving the hacker Bakunin's hideout, Elly and Aidan escape to the building's roof. With more goons on their trail, the two realize that Bakunin has set up his own escape plan, with a boat waiting in the river below them. Elly panics, unsure of how they will be able to get down, but Aidan's training doesn't hesitate to tell him that they need to jump off the roof to safety.
Although the fight is nerve-wracking, especially as it's unknown whether either will survive, the backdrop of the ocean as the two battle on the boat's deck is simply beautiful and adds to the tenseness of the situation.
