The festival organisers have confirmed the music has temporarily stopped
All Points East has made the decision to temporarily pause the music at the festival due to the onslaught of bad weather. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Saturday, the East London festival announced they will pausing performances as rain hit the site.
The post said: "We can confirm that due to weather, we are pausing performances across all stages until further notice. Thank you for your cooperation." A number of attendees took to the social media platform to share their on the ground experiences, with many sheltering in music tents and even portaloos. @Jamesmorty17 wrote: "£140 to be stuck in a cubicle with all music cancelled due to storm. #allpointseast."
Another said: "Currently hiding from the torrential rain and hail at All Points East in a portaloo. Come find me for BadBadNotGood."LondonWorld shared a video from inside the festival, where Elkka's set had to halt due to the weather. It said: "The storm has come suddenly and with very heavy rain at All Points East. The set by Elkka on the North Stage has been paused temporarily for safety reasons.
According to the Met Office, heavy rain is expected in the city until 6pm this evening. However, there is no thunderstorm warning for London at the time of writing. There is only a thunderstorm warning for the North East of England.
