State Department tells all Americans to go to Kabul airport NOW and insists Taliban will let them through
18 US Air Force C-17 cargo jets were used overnight to remove 2,000 people from Kabul. The planes each can carry around 600 people and one took 640 out of Kabul on Sunday night. The State Department is now telling people in Afghanistan to head to the airport to be put on a flight. No one can get through to the airport to board the flights because of the chaos in the streets outside.
