Alongside rumoured tax changes, Chancellor Rachel Reeves could announce several changes that would affect benefits when she delivers her Budget in October.
This has not always happened, with the previous Government freezing benefits for four years in the 2010s. She said the Government could also announce another increase from next April, though this was not certain.
